Formed in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Parkway Drive first broke through in 2005 with their debut album Killing With a Smile.

Containing the fan-favourite tracks such as Romance is Dead, It’s So Hard to Speak Without a Tounge and Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em, the album was produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and recorded in just two weeks.

The band have followed up their debut LP with 2007’s Horizons, 2010’s Deep Blue, 2012’s Atlas, 2015’s Ire and their latest effort, 2018’s Reverence.

Containing the singles Wishing Wells, The Void and Prey, Reverence is the band’s most successful album release in the UK so far, with the record peaking at No.14 on the Official UK Albums Chart.

The LP was also well-received critically with NME describing it as “a record for arenas”, and Kerrang! stating that it’s “one of the most compelling metal albums of the year”.

More of the band’s best-known tracks include Wild Eyes, Dark Days and Bottom Feeder.

A hugely popular live act, Parkway Drive regularly sell out arenas across the globe. The metallers last performed on these shores in August 2019 for a headline slot at Bloodstock Festival – their first-ever headline festival appearance in the UK.

The band have now confirmed that they’ll bring their European Revolution tour to the UK later this year, for a huge one-off headline show in the nation’s capital.
